PAPERWORK, PAPERWORK
A final reminder: All paperwork needs to be in place PRIOR to your athlete taking the field! Please double check to ensure you have provided ALL of the necessary documentation (see list below):
The following documents are required to complete your athlete’s registration:
- 2021 CCSYSA Participant Registration Form
- 2021 CCSYSA Code of Conduct
- 2021 Pop Warner Participant Contract and Parental Consent Form
- 2021 Pop Warner Physical Fitness & Medical History Form
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Copy of 2020-2021 FINAL report card with full grades for all quarters
In addition, registration needs to be paid IN FULL!!
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Practice schedule is as follows:
- Monday, August 2nd - 1st Day of Practice
- Monday, August 2nd - Friday, August 27th - Practice will be held Monday through Friday.
- If Team is assigned to Fox Road: Practice will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm during this timeframe.
- If Team is assigned to Harris Creek: Practice will be held from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm during this timeframe.

Note: Practice will shift to three days a week beginning August 30th. More details will be communicated closer to date.

- Jr. Pee Wee (Gold) - Front Field
- Pee Wee - Front Field
- 12U - Back Field
- Cheer - Front of School
Fox Road Elementary, 7101 Fox Road, Raleigh, NC
- Mitey-Mites * - Big Field
- Tiny-Mite - Softball Field
- Jr. Pee Wee (Black) - Big Field
- Jr. Varsity - Big Field
*Mitey-Mites will start at Fox Road but will move to Harris Creek. Date of move will be communicated.
LET’S BE RESPECTFUL
As a reminder, all Capital City Parents are required to sign a CCSYSA Code of Conduct, which states “I will be a “positive” role model and encourage sportsmanship by showing respect and by demonstrating positive
support for all players, coaches, officials and spectators at every game, practice, or other sporting event.”
For us, this statement extends to how Steeler parents treat the facilities and address the parents and/or staff at our host schools, Fox Road Elementary Harris Creek Elementary and Martin Middle. Keep in mind that we are guest at their locations and we should not be disrespectful to their parents and/or administration especially during the times in which they are still conducting school business. This includes, but not limited to, parking in designated parking spaces to ensure parents can enter and exit school when picking up their kids.
If situations such as those that happened in our previous season occur in the future, CCS may not be able to continue use of these facilities and/or CCS may have to exercise the remedies outline in the Code of Conduct signed by the parents.
