of further travel in any given year. The Pop Warner National

newly learned skills and spirit in September.
Q.
Are there other expected expenses?
A. For teams advancing to post-season play, there will be
additional travel expenses that families will ultimately be
responsible for (hotel, meals, and transportation). For teams
advancing to the National Championships, the cost is about $500
per participant. The Steelers hold fundraising events throughout
the year to offset operating expenses and keep our registration
fees down. When we have teams advancing to regional and National
competition, our fundraising becomes targeted to offset the
travel costs. In the past, we have been successful in raising
money to offset about 90% of the cost of travel to Regionals
and Disney. We ask that all of our Steeler families participate
enthusiastically in all our fundraising activities. Contact
the Steelers Booster Club through the web site if you wish to
help us with our year-round fundraising. ** Remember, money
made by fundraising reduces National travel expenses for Steelers.
